Widget Customization

All widget customization is done through your HappyPanda dashboard. Changes sync automatically to your widget - no code changes needed.

Customizing Your Widget

  1. Log in to your HappyPanda dashboard
  2. Go to Surveys and select or create a survey
  3. Open the survey in the Survey Builder
  4. Navigate to the Colors section to customize appearance
  5. Make your changes
  6. Click Save & Publish

Customization Options

Colors

Customize the widget colors to match your brand:

  • Primary color - Buttons, links, and accents
  • Background color - Widget background
  • Text color - Main text
  • Border color - Borders and dividers

Launcher Button

Customize the floating feedback button:

  • Icon - Choose from 8 icons (message-bubble, chat, pencil, comment, question, star, heart, lightbulb)
  • Position - Bottom-right, bottom-left, right side, or left side
  • Style - Floating circular button or rectangular tab
  • Button text - Optional label next to the icon

Survey Content

Customize all text in your survey:

  • Survey title - Main heading
  • Question text - Your survey question
  • Input labels - Placeholder text and labels
  • Button labels - Submit button text
  • Thank you message - Success message after submission

Theme Mode

Choose how the widget handles light/dark themes:

  • Light mode - Always use light colors
  • Dark mode - Always use dark colors
  • Auto - Follows user’s system preference (recommended)

Preview Changes

The survey builder includes a live preview:

  • See changes in real-time as you edit
  • Test the widget behavior
  • Preview on different screen sizes

Mobile Optimization

The widget automatically adapts to mobile devices:

  • Responsive sizing
  • Touch-friendly buttons
  • Mobile-optimized layouts
  • Keyboard-aware positioning

All customizations work seamlessly across desktop and mobile.
